END OF THE EBAY AUCTION

THE END OF THE AUCTION CAME AND WENT. THERE WERE 55 WATCHERS AND 8 BIDDERS. THE BID GOT UP TO 3250.00. IT DIDN'T REACH THE RESERVE PRICE BUT TWO PEOPLE ARE STILL IN TOUCH WITH ALAN ABOUT BUYING THE CAR. ALAN HAD A COUPLE OF POSITIVE COMMENTS ABOUT HIS LITTLE CAR. ONE GUY SAID, "AWESOME CAR, IT LOOKS LIKE A MINI MUSTANG. WE'LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT....

TY'S 2009 BASKETBALL SEASON WAS A GOOD ONE. THEY FINISHED 4TH IN THE TOURNAMENT. HE GOT THE WINNING SHOT AGAINST THE SECOND PLACE TEAM IN ONE OF THE EARLIER GAMES. HE MADE SEVERAL 3 POINT SHOTS TOWARD THE END OF THE SEASON. HE REALLY PLAYS HIS HEART OUT!

We started weight watchers today. We went to a meeting at Montgomery and Tramway. There were quiet a few people there. Counting points will be hard to get used to. We all realized that we eat a lot more than what we really need. It will be hard but this is something we just must do. It is a need not just a want. We want to be smaller for a lot of different reasons but we need to be smaller for our health. I need to get before pictures. I do like that they set an initial goal of just 5% of your weight to lose at first. So for me that is 9lbs. That seems somewhat obtainable. Tiffany and Laura went with us. Tiffany doesn't seem real interested but Laura is going to make her go for at least 10 weeks and include that in her school for the year.

Kaycee goes tomorrow to the orthodontist. They are checking her mouth to see if there has been any growth in the last 3 months. We are praying that there has been. Her pediatrician said that she believes she will still grow more this year.

We had our fellowship group meeting today at Arlene's house. She wants to do a 2 day retreat at her house in April. That sounds like fun. We had a good talk today. I think everyone came away feeling closer because we were able to really lay out what we were thinking - we actually shared our hearts and no one got upset!!

We had snow today. Woke up and the ground was white. We've had such warm weather lately. We knew winter would return sometime. I haven't watched the news in over a week so it caught me by surprise. Yesterday, I put a grapevine wreath with spring flowers out on the gate. Today it was covered with snow! This is New Mexico....
Laura and I cleaned a house and then picked up the girls and went on a walk. I really don't enjoy walking just for the sake of exercise. I'm trying to make myself get into a habit but it's really hard for me. I'm basically lazy! Walking in the mountains is not bad but I really don't walk - I stroll. I must do this for my health though.
